Thinking of visiting South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island, FL?
My wife and I taking a vacation next month, right now plans are to go to a resort in Boca Raton. However, I saw something about South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island and I was wondering has anyone been there and if so can you give me alittle feedback on the resort. I’ve looked at reviews on hotels.com, expedia, etc..Most of them weren’t to recent.
Where can I find employment in Florida in hospitality industry , that provides employee housing options.?
Cost of housing generally paid through payroll deducttion. I worked years ago at South Seas Plantation, which offered this housing option as a way for employees to live closer to work, since it was located on Captiva Island. I believe most opportubties will be resort type accomodations but interest is varied.

One advantage of hiring a charter boat in addition to expert guidance is that, the handling of bait, tackle and equipment is taken care of, for you. Even fish cleaning is done on your behalf. If its your first time, you can hire or request the first mate on the boat to teach you how to bait and use the tackle. The captain of the hired boat knows where the fish can be found, which makes the trip all the more worthwhile.
